The Refugee Buddy Project Hastings is excited to announce the upcoming Christmas market for 2024, a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the holiday season.
This event will highlight local artisans and businesses, allowing guests to discover unique gifts and decorations made by refugee entrepreneurs, enjoy cakes, soups, hot drinks, Arabic coffee and hot chocolate from the Dove Café, live music and children's activities.
The market will feature a range of handmade products from local vendors, including gifts, decorations, clothing, and jewellery. In addition to shopping, visitors will be entertained by local musicians and performances from refugee youth, while children can enjoy craft activities led by volunteers.
We aim to bring together people and communities from various backgrounds, fostering community connections and celebrating the spirit of the winter season.

The annual Christmas Market has become a local fixture and winter fundraising Social Gathering which raise vital funds for the ongoing work of The Refugee Buddy Project in creating a culture of welcome and bringing people and communities together.
